The Pentagon announced the identities of the three American service members killed in the drone attack at a U.S. military base in Jordan near the Syrian border.
All three deceased service members were Georgia residents.
“In a press release Monday, the Defense Department said Sgt. William Jerome Rivers, 46, of Carrollton, Georgia; Spc. Kennedy Ladon Sanders, 24, of Waycross, Georgia and Spc. Breonna Alexsondria Moffett, 23, of Savannah, Georgia, died Jan. 28, 2024, in Jordan,” CBS News wrote.
“These 3 human beings should still be alive, right here in America. But instead, politicians sent them overseas to die. And those same politicians will use their deaths as an excuse to send many more over to die. Enough. End the government’s endless war policy, repeal the AUMF, and bring the troops home. All of them. Rest in peace to you, William, Kennedy and Breonna. May your memories be a great blessing,” Spike Cohen commented.
