Pentagon Cancels Drag Show At Air Force Base After Criticism, Though Still Shows Support LGTBQIA+ Community

Even though the Department of Defense has once again issued statements in celebration and solidarity to the LGTBQIA+ community, it has canceled a drag festival at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. It would have been the third annual event.

The event last year was called “Drag-u-Nellis” in 2021 when it began, NBC reported.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is very much in support of Pride Month, but is drawing the line with drag, according to an official from the Pentagon.
