AFN Democrats in Congress might have committed a federal crime when they urged the U.S. armed forces to disobey President Donald Trump, and now the commander in chief says the lawmakers deserve to be arrested and put on trial for treason.
The one-minute video was the idea of U.S. Sen. Elissia Slotkin, a former CIA officer and a Democrat from Michigan.
Slotkin was likely motivated by Trump deploying National Guard troops to U.S. cities, but any reference to her current bill in the Senate, or any context about troop deployment, is missing in the short video, Fox News said.
The video features Slotkin and five other lawmakers, all military veterans, sternly telling currently military members to “refuse illegal orders” or “refuse unlawful orders.”
