On Friday, President Donald Trump fired 12 federal inspectors general across several government agencies, in the latest of many shakeups in the federal bureaucracy.
As Axios reports, inspectors general were fired from multiple major federal agencies, including the State Department, Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Interior (DOI), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Transportation (DOT), Department of Commerce (DOC), Department of Agriculture (DOA), and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), as well as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
