President Trump has silenced all rumors that he will nominate JPMorgan Chase chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon as the Treasury Secretary.
In a post on Truth Social Trump wrote, “I respect Jamie Dimon, of JPMorgan Chase, greatly, but he will not be invited to be a part of the Trump Administration.”
Trump added, “I thank Jamie for his outstanding service to our Country!”
The statement from Trump comes after weeks of rumors swirling on social media that Dimon would be named Treasury Secretary.
