This is the prophetic word for 5782 and 2022. This may end up being a 3 Part word because there are a few key components that the Lord wants cover for this coming year.
I want to start off with 5782 which is the Hebrew New Year and it starts on September 6-8, 2021. This is called Rosh Hashanah. You may be wondering why we even talk about the Hebrew Calendar, well God never abolished it. They still use it in Israel and if you follow the months you will see that there is a timing associated with the calendar. Of course, God is not bound by any calendar and He can do anything at anytime. However, I always see things change and shift around Rosh Hashanah and the other Hebraic Months. It is based on the Lunar Cycles so the dates of events change every year. The Gregorian Calendar says December 25th is Christmas but on the Hebraic Calendar the dates change every year.
I think this is just God’s way of keeping us on our toes. He doesn’t want us on autopilot.
5782, the numbers mean something. This is not “angel numbers” which is new age and not Christian so you shouldn’t be looking up angels numbers to find out the meaning of numbers that you are seeing.
I’m not going to repeat what was written about concerning 5780, you can read that here. It is important that you understand it because it concerns the decade. God wants me to focus on the number 2 for this post.
Life works in cycles, so every time we move into another decade there is an opportunity for change. 10 is the number for deliverance, redemption, the completion of one cycle. Many of the old cycles can be broken at this mark. Knowing this, the job of the enemy is to make sure that you never get out of bad cycles. He wants to keep you trapped for another decade in the same thing. Why do you think 2020 looked like it did? It was the start of the next decade. Then everything was put on pause.
You are due. It is your time. We are all due. What God has destined for you will happen and the enemy knows it so he tries to delay the inevitable hoping that you’ll give up and walk away.
What I want to do is change your perspective…how you are looking at things. I believe with a change of perspective you will be able to weather what is coming much better. You can move ahead even if things around you don’t seem right. There’s a lot that happens in the darkness. In spite of it, many believers were able to forge forward in 2020 and will continue to do this for the rest of 2021 and into 2022!
You need to know this, things are not going back to the way they were. It will never be the same again. So since you can’t change that you just need to learn how to live with where we are going. Things will get worse, not better. It’s going to be that way for several years to come. Yes, I said several years. The truth is, only through the pressing and the crushing can we become who we are supposed to be in Christ.
Perspective Shift – Consider it the catalyst for your transformation.
We might not like it but I believe who we will become as a church will be exactly what God wants and, this is what it will take to get us there. So, Embrace the Warfare.
When you hear the word “Promise Land”, I’m pretty sure you never expected it to be like this, right? That’s because somehow we forgot that this is where they met the giants. We also forget that this was when they fought war after war to capture the land. That means, what you are experiencing now comes with the territory. Since it won’t change, YOU have to change. Put your game face on and run to win.
1 Corinthians 9:24-27
24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run [their very best to win], but only one receives the prize? Run [your race] in such a way that you may seize the prize and make it yours! 25 Now every athlete who [goes into training and] competes in the games is disciplined and exercises self-control in all things. They do it to win a crown that withers, but we [do it to receive] an imperishable [crown that cannot wither]. 26 Therefore I do not run without a definite goal; I do not flail around like one beating the air [just shadow boxing]. 27 But [like a boxer] I strictly discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached [the gospel] to others, I myself will not somehow be disqualified [as unfit for service].

FOCUS ON THE LIGHT
Let me clarify, this is not let’s keep it “light and fun” type of light. Let’s just be fun and positive, no. We are going to go through a darkness. However, we can get through it by Focusing on th
e Light. Which Light? Jesus.
John 8:12 “I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”
You need to get really good at staying focused. Otherwise, if you spend more time looking at the darkness instead of the Light you will get sucked in. You become what you behold.
2 Corinthians 3: 18 But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory—just as from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
It’s a little dark right now but believe me, it’s going to get worse and if you don’t start learning to focus now, you are going to have a harder time doing it later. I saw it as this dark tunnel and we are a train going through, but the Light is coming up ahead. We can either look directly at the Light as it get brighter and larger or we can look to the left and the right and get sucked into what is around us. These will be your options so choose wisely.
The tunnel is longer than 1 year.
5782, Let’s look at the number 2. It means agreement, (Luke 10:1-3). It is also the number for multiplication. Right now you need to understand that even in your lack due to the loss of employment or underemployment, the power is in your hand this year to supernaturally multiply things! (Matthew 14:13-21) Praise God.
The number 2 is also the number for division, disunity, a separation. Do I even need to talk about the division that’s going on around us? No, I don’t. You can see it for yourself. There is so much division going on right now and the enemy is using any and everything he can do keep us divided as a church. You can choose not to participate in it. It’s really a choice.
Do you know what is the worse part of the division? When we are divided and we haven’t learnt how to guard our tongue and our speech, we start cursing people, our own family, church family, leaders, government, our own country. The enemy will use anyone who is careless with their tongue to do his dirty work for him.
We have the power to create in our mouth. God created the world with one word…”Let there be Light”. The same creative power, the Spirit of creation that hovered over the water at the beginning of creation lives within you as a believer in Christ (Genesis 1:2). So what greater way does the enemy cause havoc than to get the believers to curse those they are divided against?
We are in the decade of PEY 5780-5789. Pey means mouth. It is the decade of the MOUTH. This entire decade you have the ability to create with your mouth. Yes, you do! Do not speak out of turn on things you don’t understand. There’s only one being that creates confusion. So the minute you start sensing there is some confusion there, step back.
Light dispels darkness. Nothing can overcome Light.
John 1:5
(NLT ) The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.
(Voice) A light that thrives in the depths of darkness, blazes through murky bottoms. It cannot and will not be quenched.
(TPT) And this Light never fails to shine through darkness—Light that darkness could not overcome!
(Message) The Life-Light blazed out of the darkness; the darkness couldn’t put it out.
(AMP) The Light shines on in the darkness, and the darkness did not understand it or overpower it or appropriate it or absorb it [and is unreceptive to it].
(KJV) And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
To darkness, Light is a bit of an enigma.
Perspective Shift – What if I told you that you can create the Light that is at the end of the tunnel with your mouth? What if I told you that you can actually speak that Light into existence? What if I told you that you can actually make the Light get brighter until the darkness doesn’t even appear to be there anymore?
You can do all of this with your mouth.
Do you remember what happened to Moses when he spent 40 days in the presence of the God? When he came down the mountain, his face was shining like the light (Exodus 34:29-35)
You become what you behold. Focus on the Light.

The second letter in the Hebrew alphabet is Bet/Vet. It means house, household, shelter, temple. Make Jesus your home. Jesus is the chief cornerstone of the temple. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit so glorify God with your body. You get to decide where you live.
Ephesians 2:19-22 NKJV
19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

Let’s pray to break off all the word curses we’ve spoken over this past year and move forward with a clean slate. This is the same prayer but slightly modified from 5780
Abba Father forgive me for the careless words that I have spoken over the last year. Forgive me for the things that I have said about myself that were not inline with your plan for my life. I repent for allowing the enemy to use my mouth to speak word curses against others and come into agreement with darkness. Forgive me for the things that I have spoken over my children, my spouse, my family and friends that were not a part of your plan for their lives. Forgive me for giving voice to which is darkness instead of which is Light. Purify my heart and mind. I pray the fire of the Holy Ghost will cleanse my tongue cause me to speak Your words and not my opinions. Grant me the grace to speak the Light. Renew my mind with your Word so that only Your words flow from my mouth. I pray the Holy Spirit makes me aware when I am about to say something that is not Your will. According to Psalm 141:3 “put a guard over my mouth and set watch over the doors of my lips”. Bring a heavy conviction over me when I am getting ready to say the wrong thing and let me quickly be repentant and make it right. Now Lord I pray that you cancel every evil declaration that I have released into the atmosphere. I do not want to eat the fruit of death from my lips. I pray these words come to nothing. Cause my mind to reflect on things that are true, pure, lovely, praise-worthy, good, uplifting, honest and peaceful. Give me a new mindset, Your mindset. Change my perspective. With so much bad in this world let me see the positive in all situations and speak that instead of what is negative, I trust You Holy Spirit to keep me accountable. Minister to my spirit what You would like created in the world and let me create that with my mouth, in Jesus name, Amen.
