QUESTION: Why Don’t FCC “Decency Standards” Apply To School Libraries?

Noah here with a simple question….

We have “Decency Standards” imposed by the FCC that govern what can and cannot be said on Television.

Did you know that?

The reason: “because there’s a reasonable expectation that children may be watching” during the hours of 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Got it.

So….is there a “reasonable expectation that children may be present” in their own school libraries?

Where did our common sense go?
