‘Rejected’: Charlie Kirk’s Producer Responds to Conspiracy Theory About Kirk’s Security, Assassination

Charlie Kirk’s pal and executive producer, Andrew Kolvet, confirmed a report that it was Utah Valley University’s sole responsibility to make sure the roofline was secure and failed to do so when Kirk was killed by an assassin’s bullet on September 10 on the campus in Orem, Utah.

In a post on Friday on X, the producer of “The Charlie Kirk Show” podcast reposted a video from Pastor John K. Amanchukwu Sr., sharing with everyone how the university rejected a request by Turning Point USA to allow them to secure the rooftops, amid wild speculation online that it was Kirk’s team that failed.

“Who was responsible for securing the rooftops when Charlie Kirk was shot?” the pastor wrote. “Did his security team fail, or were they told to stand down, because police would secure the rooftops and the perimeters. Did Charlie Kirk’s security have drones?”

In the video, the pastor answers those questions and more, stating that, beyond a shadow of a doubt, this tragedy could’ve been prevented.

“People are saying that Charlie Kirk’s security detail failed him immensely because they didn’t secure the rooftop where the shooter assassinated Charlie Kirk,” Amanchukwu said. “Let’s address this head-on. Most people don’t know this, but when you go to a college campus, you have to work in concert and in synergy with campus police.”
