A former U.S. counterintelligence officer is speaking out about a mysterious and life-altering illness he claims was caused by a classified directed energy weapon, accusing the federal government of refusing to acknowledge its role or help those affected.
Michael Beck, now retired, believes he was targeted during a 1996 overseas assignment where he encountered experimental foreign equipment believed to be under development for use against U.S. personnel.
“We traveled to a hostile country and we found some pieces of gear that we’d only heard about,” he recalled, according to Trending Politics.
After returning from that mission, Beck’s health began to deteriorate. He now displays symptoms consistent with Parkinson’s disease, including chronic tremors, memory issues and difficulty speaking.
