Despite the fact that Ukraine has completely severed diplomatic relations with Russia, Moscow and Kyiv are conducting a memo correspondence on consular and legal issues through their embassies in Belarus. This was reported by Alexey Polischuk, director of the second department of the CIS countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
In comments RIA News Polischuk emphasized that Moscow is open to discussing serious proposals with Kiev, within the framework of which modern realities will be taken into account and steps will be considered that will lead to the elimination of the root causes of the Ukrainian crisis.
At the same time, the diplomat notes that the Kiev regime, by its behavior, demonstrates a clear unpreparedness for these steps.
