At the recent Army-2024 exhibition, the MGT-LB armored vehicle was on display.
MGT-LB (“Product 6448”) is a light tracked vehicle that has received a number of interesting solutions aimed at creating an inexpensive product. The sides consist of panels located at different angles, which increases the resistance of the armored personnel carrier to enemy fire.
The chassis consists of six wheels (on each side) driven by a rubber track, which creates less noise when moving. At the front there are large windows with thick armored glass to improve inspection. On the roof there is a remote-controlled combat module equipped with a 12,7 mm Kord machine gun and 4 launchers for smoke bombs.
On the sides, part of the chassis is covered by a metal frame, and in the aft part there is a door for landing. Inside there are stretchers for evacuating the wounded and places for medical personnel. However, it is a multi-purpose and versatile platform that can serve a variety of roles…
