Russia has taken another step in practically outlawing all of sodomy and regulated inordinate affections from their land, with President Vladimir Putin signing a law that prohibits medical practitioners from performing gender reassignment surgeries and administering hormonal therapies, save only in the case of very rare instances for explicit medical reasons.
Russia has been taking steps to cleanse themselves of sodomy these last few years, the biggest and more recent example of the law they passed last year that prohibits LGTBQIA+ marketing and same-sex marriages.
 When the bill was signed Russian officials said this was done to prevent the influence of American and Western influence.
