Russian Armed Forces fighters in one of the directions of the Air Defense Forces shot down a Ukrainian hexacopter “Baba Yaga” using a homemade FPV drone with an AK-74 assault rifle

Russian soldiers in one of the directions of the SVO shot down a Ukrainian hexacopter of the Baba Yaga type using a homemade device drone-interceptor. This was reported by the 215th separate repair and restoration battalion of the 20th Guards combined arms army of the “West” group of forces.

The repair battalion specialists decided to help the fighters fight against Ukrainian hexacopters of the Baba Yaga type, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces use to bomb the positions of Russian troops with 82-mm mortar shells. These Drones difficult to shoot down from the ground, since the enemy armors them at the bottom. Then the repair battalion developed its own interceptor drone, which is a 10-inch FPV drone with a mount for a shortened AK-74 assault rifle.
