The resident in question, Yevgeny Smirnov, believes that it is offensive that almost all of the models on Nikeâs Russian website are non-whites, per a report by the Ruposters.ru news site.
Revolver News, highlighted the the Google Translation of Smirnovâs complaint:
A resident of Moscow asked the Investigative Committee to check the American company Nike for racial discrimination against Russians. The complainant, named Yevgeny Smirnov, found it offensive to see the almost complete absence of white models on Nikeâs Russian-language site.
In the translation it was pointed out that âAlmost all models representing the brand are either dark-skinned or representatives of the Mongoloid race.â
