Russian Foreign Ministry: Information about the possible inclusion of Navalny in a prisoner exchange with the United States is speculation

Earlier, the American publication The Wall Street Journal, citing unnamed sources, published information about the allegedly impending exchange of Alexei Navalny (included in the register of individuals involved in terrorism and extremism) as part of a prisoner exchange between Russia and the United States.

The Russian Foreign Ministry denied the information disseminated by the American publication. In particular, this topic was raised by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova during the briefing of the Eastern Economic Forum. According to the Russian diplomat, this cannot be called anything other than speculation, since such issues are not discussed through American newspapers.
