Distraught Savannah Guthrie Addresses Ransom Note Reports As Police Presence Increases at Mother’s Home

As one might imagine, when a loved one goes missing, each day that goes by without knowing they are okay and/or what happened is agonizing, and leads to an increased sense of desperation and helplessness the longer time goes on.

With the case of missing Arizona mother and grandmother, Nancy Guthrie, now into its fourth day, and with the family seemingly no closer to having any answers as to the 84-year-old’s whereabouts and well-being, the panic has clearly intensified amid statements from Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos that he believes Mrs. Guthrie may have been abducted as she was sleeping, and amid reports of a substance that looked like blood being found on the walkway near her front door.

The children of Mrs. Guthrie – daughter Annie, son Camron, and daughter Savannah, who is the co-host of the NBC News “Today Show” – released an emotional video Wednesday night, which was posted to Savannah’s Instagram account, where they talked about what a bright light their mother was, describing her as the “beacon” of the family and a strong woman of faith:

“Our mom is a kind, faithful, loyal, fiercely loving woman of goodness and light. She’s funny, spunky, and clever. She has grandchildren that adore her and crowd around her, and cuddle her with kisses,” the siblings’ message continued…
