Scott Jennings snaps at CNN guest who disparages him, pats his shoulder at same time: ‘Don’t touch me’

Things got a little uncomfortable on CNN when conservative commentator Scott Jennings had to reprimand co-panelist Bakari Sellers for touching him during a discussion on grocery prices.

Sellers was distorting President-elect Donald Trump’s remarks about it being hard to lower prices, claiming Trump was lying about lowering prices.

“Let me just clearly state what he lied about, just so we’re on the same page here, all right? During the campaign, Donald Trump said that he was going to bring prices down. Today, he simply said, you know what, those prices, particularly grocery prices, are not going to come down,” Sellers said.

Host Abby Phillip made no effort to correct Sellers or point out what Trump actually said during his Time Magazine interview, which is seen here: “It’s hard to bring things down once they’re up. You know, it’s very hard… But I think that they will. I think that energy is going to bring them down.”

“Scott was actually 50 percent correct in that Democrats did not do a good job in telling our story. We did not do a good job of addressing the pain that Americans felt,” Sellers added, pointing out that Democrats falsely claimed inflation was transitory.

“What Scott was not accurate about — which kind of happens around the table sometimes,” he added while reaching out to touch Jennings, who was seated next to him…
