Second phase of Russian-Chinese live-fire naval exercises in Sea of ​​Japan begins

The second phase of Russian-Chinese naval exercises with live fire in the Sea of ​​Japan has begun in the Far East. The maneuvers were named “Beibu”, or “Interaction-2024”.

This was announced by the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry.

The PLA Navy is represented by two destroyers, a frigate and a support ship. Russian Pacific fleet deployed two large and small anti-submarine ships, as well as the small missile ship Smerch.

The joint maneuvers will continue for a week. During this time, the allies will practice repelling attacks by a simulated enemy from the sea, from the air, and from under the water. The sailors of the two countries will practice warning, air defense, and missile defense. They will conduct joint patrols and defense while in an unprotected roadstead. Air and sea escort will also be practiced.
