SEEK THE LORD WHILE HE MAY BE FOUND – THE CLOSE OF HUMAN PROBATION IS COMING!

TODAY is the day to seek the Lord while He may be found. We are living in serious times. The signs of the end and Christ’s return are all around us and we must seek the Lord with all our heart, as a time is coming soon when the doors of mercy will close to the world and the Lord will no longer be found. Please, heed the call!

Isaiah 55:6 …’Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.’

If we are told to seek the Lord while He may be found, then what are we being told? We are being told that at some point in time, the Lord will NOT be found! Do you understand this? Do you see? A time is coming when the Lord will not be found. And that time is known as the close of human probation, when the seven last plagues begin to fall upon the world. Look:

Revelation 15:6,8 …’And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues … And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.’

This is the fulfilment of the Old Testament type, look:

Exodus 40:34-35 …’Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacleAnd Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.’

1 Kings 8:10-11 …’And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the Lord, So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of the Lord.’

1 Timothy 2:5 …’For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.’

You will notice in verse 2 of 1 Kings 8 that this filling of the temple takes place on the seventh month. The very month that the day of atonement takes place, as Leviticus 23 confirms. So the filling of the temple in heaven in Revelation 15 must be connected with the antitypical day of atonement which we have been living in since 1844 (see our 2300 PROPHECY OF DANIEL study for more on this).

Now how do we obtain mercy from God at this time? We obtain mercy through faith in Jesus Christ and his mediatorial work on our behalf before God the Father in the temple in heaven. Jesus is our High Priest and that ‘man’ who mediates for us in the heavenly temple. But look at what happens when it is time for the seven last plagues to be poured out. We are told in Revelation 15 that “no man can enter into the temple.” No man includes every person (by faith) through Christ, and even Christ Himself, being that ‘man’ – our mediator and High Priest, just as the priests in Old Testament times could not enter and mediate in the temple when it was filled with the glory of God. So we see that when the plagues begin to fall, Christ leaves the temple in preparation to return for His people and bring judgment upon the world. And if you compare Revelation 16:17-20 with Revelation 6:14-17, you will see that the 7th plague is connected with the very return of Christ to earth…
