Sentencing Delay: President Trump Responds via Truth Social

New York Judge Juan Merchan hit the pause button on sentencing until November 26, after the election.

President Donald Trump’s legal team is taking this as a clear victory, but the battle isn’t over yet.

Trump then went to Truth Social to post his response, pointing out that the case should be thrown out.

He stated:

“I greatly appreciate the words “if necessary” being utilized in the Decision, because there should be no “if necessary” – This case should be rightfully terminated, as we prepare for the Most Important Election in the History of our Country.

With the upcoming election and the sentencing, it looks like November will be quite eventful.

Former President Donald Trump keyed in on the two words “if necessary” in New York Judge Juan Merchan’s ruling Friday delaying sentencing in the Republican candidate’s hearing until after November’s election.

Merchan oversaw Trump’s criminal case in which he was convicted of 34 counts of falsifying business records regarding payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels by then Trump attorney Michael Cohen prior to the 2016 general election…
