Fox News host and decorated veteran Pete Hegseth made headlines several weeks ago last month when President-elect Donald Trump nominated him to lead the Department of Defense.
Hegseth has faced a number of anonymous allegations concerning his behavior involving alcohol and women. Yet in a development sure to leave Trump beaming, multiple female senators have come to Hegseth’s defense.
Marsha Blackburn: Hegseth is “more than qualified”
According to Breitbart, one of them is Tennessee Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn who spoke with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo about the nominee.
