Houston, Texas, is in hot water after an X post marked Good Friday as a “Spring holiday.”
In a quickly deleted message, the City of Houston announced that its offices would be closed on Friday “due to the Spring holiday weekend.” This outraged Christians, who viewed it as a blatant form of religious erasure. It was especially rich, critics noticed, considering the same account had no issue with celebrating Eid Mubarak two years ago.
