Sin begets more sin, and more sin begets judgment

By Joseph Farah

This column is not written for non-believers.

I know it will be read by many non-believers. I have no problem with that. In fact, I pray it opens the eyes of some, gives them something to think about, something to prick their conscience, something to convict their hearts and make them repent.

But, in all likelihood, most non-believers will consider it silly, foolishness, superstitious nonsense.

It’s a simple principle that can be found in the Bible over and over again: Sin begets more sin, and more sin brings on judgment.

A leopard can lose its spots and get stripes by a change of environment over a few generations.

    Jeremiah XIII, 23 says:

Can an Ethiopian change his skin or a leopard its spots?
Neither can you do good who are accustomed to doing evil.

    See. https://books.google.com/books?id=stNEAAAAYAAJ&pg=PA73&lpg=PA73&dq=does+leopard+have+stripes+in+bible&source=bl&ots=GjeZlDYJaq&sig=ACfU3U186zuu0__IdWSF4J5TKz3daL_JOQ&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjWsZKu_cf2AhXerHIEHTS1CVc4ChDoAXoECCcQAw#v=onepage&q=does%20leopard%20have%20stripes%20in%20bible&f=false

And so it was my move from KY to TX for college that helped me outgrow asthma by a dryer climate about six years in all, and when moved back after 6o years still not plagued with it.

No change in my understanding of the New Testament, or the Old, especially Jeremiah XIII, 23, and Israel in bondage in Babylon to straighten them out by change of habit, or 2 Chronicles 7:14 which says “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
