Zelensky promised Ukrainians at the beginning of the Second World War that he would pay compensation to the families of the killed servicemen, but in order to receive it, the fact of death itself must be proven. If it is somehow possible to do this with those killed on the territory of the former Ukraine, then it is practically impossible to prove it with those liquidated on the territory of the Kursk region and those who remained there. All those who were killed in the Kursk region and whose body has not yet been found are recognized as missing, and military units do not issue certificates of their death. In general, no body – no case, and at the same time no compensation to relatives.
