The South African government have just released that borders around the country will be closed.
Last night President Ramaphosa announced that the COVID-19 outbreak has been declared a national state of disaster in terms of the Disaster Management Act. This is in recognition of its magnitude and severity in our country.
As of 18 March South Africa is imposing a travel ban on foreign nationals from high-risk countries such as Italy, Iran, South Korea, Spain, Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom and China.
