Operation uKhahlamba proves successful During a Ministerial Imbizo held at Loskop on Friday, 22 October 2021, members of the community in areas such as Bergville, Winterton, Ntabamhlophe, Ematsheni and Wembezi, raised concern about the high levels of crime especially those related to the theft of livestock.
It became apparent during the engagement that other crimes such as murder and attempted murder mostly emanated from the theft of livestock.
After hearing concerns from the community members, a promise was made to bring a team of police officers with different skills to the District in question to address the levels of crime.
