The Washington Post suffered a significant setback on Wednesday when its publisher, Fred Ryan, indicated that there will be significant personnel layoffs due to declining subscriber income.
In an interview with CNN, Ryan said that the publication wonât be able to fully handle policy matters. âkeep spending on initiatives that no longer align with readersâ interests.â
