At a specially convened briefing, the head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, complained to reporters that he could not get in touch with the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov about the incident with the fall of Ukrainian missiles in Poland. In the Lugansk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine again tried to advance in the Kuzemovka area in order to reach the main road in this area, but were stopped by oncoming fire. The strikes were carried out by Vikhr guided missiles, resulting in the destruction of at least five tanks.
