An ex-husband suspected of shooting his ex-wife, another woman and man Tuesday afternoon at Boo Han Oriental Market, sending panicked shoppers running for cover has turned himself in, authorities said.

Hours after the triple shooting the suspect turned himself in at an Everett Police Department Precinct.

Investigators used a drone and a police K9 to search for the suspect, who apparently fled on foot from the scene after gunfire was reported at the market, located at 22618 Highway 99, around 3:30 p.m., officials said. Police said he is believed to be in his 20s.

Police said the suspects ex-wife was shot in the face, another woman was shot in the arms and a man was shot in the lower extremities.

The two women were rushed for treatment to Harborview Medical Center while the male victim was taken to Providence Medical Center. All three victims are currently in surgery, police said.

Edmonds police Sgt. Josh McClure speaks to reporters about a shooting at Boo Han Oriental Market in Edmonds on Sept. 29, 2020.

Edmonds police Sgt. Josh McClure said the store was very crowded and chaotic when police arrived. He said there was also a language barrier that prevented police from communicating with some bystanders at the scene.

McClure said the victims, who all appeared to be in their 30s, were shot in the front entry way to the market, but it was not immediately clear what led to the shooting.

Several law enforcement agencies responded to the scene, including Arlington police, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, the Washington State Patrol and the King County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators called in their K9 to search for the suspect, and Highway 99 between 224th and 236th Streets were closed while police conducted their investigation. Live video from Air 4 showed yellow crime scene tape erected around the strip shopping center where the Korean grocery store is located.

Air 4 was live over a triple shooting scene at Boo Han Oriental Market in Edmonds on Sept. 29, 2020.

Police described the suspect as a short Asian male who was wearing black clothing and a black hat. Investigators said he fled southbound after the shooting.

Snohomish County authorities said they used a drone to help find the suspect.

McClure said the shooting was witnessed by several bystanders.

The first officers on scene were a field training officer and his student.
