Trending Politics Conservative News and Commentary As President Trump gains steam in the national spotlight again, California Democrat Rep Eric Swalwell is making a desperate move to get the former President banned from the Capitol in Washington D.C. The disgraced representative was recently pulled from his seat on the House intelligence panel and is now throwing a tantrum with former President Donald Trump as his target.
Swalwell, along with Democrat Representative Nikema Williams of Georgia, co-sponsored a resolution that would make Capitol Police and House and Senate Sergeant at Arms take action against Trump if he were to step inside the Capitol. Swalwell cites the January 6 riots as reason to “take such actions as may be necessary” to prevent Trump from going inside the Capitol.
The co-sponsored resolution claims that Donald Trump’s “effort to undermine and overturn the 2020 presidential election” make him ineligible to step into the halls of the Capitol building.
