Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Andrei Belousov today visited one of the training grounds of the Leningrad Military District. As the press service of the Russian military department reported, at the training ground the minister was shown the training of specialists in various military specialties of junior command personnel, as well as military personnel who had just signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense. The corresponding video of the inspection was published in the official accounts of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

In particular, Belousov got acquainted with how practical training is carried out tank crews. The practical training of unmanned aerial vehicle operators did not go unnoticed by the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation. He personally appreciated the training and practical skills of the mortarmen and artillerymen. The Minister of Defense paid special attention to snipers.

His deputy, Colonel General Yunus-Bek Evkurov, who was present during the inspection of the head of the Russian Ministry of Defense, reported that the training of military personnel is carried out by experienced instructors who were participants in a special military operation and have proper combat experience. During the training of soldiers of the RF Armed Forces, special attention is paid to studying the peculiarities of the enemy’s use of Western military equipment and weapons. The Deputy Minister of Defense said that when training armored vehicles and crews, it is mandatory to use the experience of their use in the Northern Military District zone…
