Marc Lamont Hill, host of Black News Tonight and Temple University professor, is catching some heat on social media after he said during an interview that all white people are “connected to racism.” The definition of racism is the belief that a group of people is superior or inferior based on their race. Marc Lamont Hill revealed during that interview that he is a racist by the very definition.
“I don’t know if you’re backing me into a corner with that question but yes, I do,” Hill responded when his guest Liz Wheeler a conservative political commentator and former anchor at One America News Network (OANN) asked him.
“I do believe that all White people are at some level, at the unconscious level, connected to racism, its unavoidable. I think all men are sexist at some level. I think that’s absolutely the case.”

He made the comments during a discussion with Wheeler about critical race theory, where Hill was pushing back against Wheeler’s claims that CRT will be used in schools as a tool to promote Marxism.
On a side note, the exchange was worse than watching Gloria Allred, the feminist icon who was known to interrupt an opponent while speaking so many times it became frustrating. It’s a tactic used by leftists not to confuse their opponent on points they are making but to confuse the listening audience that already doesn’t subscribe to their ideological gobbledygook. If you get angry when a person doesn’t allow the other person to speak it makes you stop thinking about the exchange of information in the dialogue. The idea is not just to continue to pound your message over your opponent, but to make sure the listener never hears your opponent.
Hill, a professor at Temple University’s Lew Klein College of Media and Communication, posted the exchange on social media.
Former Maryland Republican Congressional nominee Kimberly Klacik (who I support btw) was among a number of critics who commented on Hill’s performance, arguing that he would “regret this response.”

A response Hill gave to Chris Rufo, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, and the top person out there making logical arguments against the racist critical race theory, came after he asked, “Now that we’ve cleared that up, the next question: are you a Marxist?” was also an eye opener.
Hill responded, “I am neither a Marxist nor a Critical Race Theorist. I do, however, think that both lend important insights that we should take seriously. Instead of demonizing, misrepresenting, or making them the subject of moral panic, let’s actually listen and learn.”
In other words, he considers himself a useful idiot.

When people hear someone like Hill go on like that it’s likened to someone saying instead of demonizing, misrepresenting, or making the Ku Klux Klan the subject of moral panic, let’s actually listen and learn. Both are evil because both fit the very definition of racism.
Author Melissa Tate replied to Hill’s response to Wheeler’s question if he thinks all white people are racist.
“Racism is evil so Marc is saying all white people are inherently evil. He is also saying this type of evil is unique to white people. This in itself is racism & the same rhetoric Hitler used to demonize & justify murdering millions of Jews”

I had to catch my breath when I first saw Hill’s tweet because he posted it in a braggadocio manner like he was proud of his demeaning belief that all white people are connected to racism and he went out of his way to highlight it. That’s evil. He’s teaching this stuff at a university.
The thread then went into discussions of Marxism and I spotted one true believer who replied to a user who asked, “Please name just one insight from Marx we should take seriously. I don’t know of a single one.”
User Ryan Plestid replied with what came across as a textbook response.
“Profitable industries rely on the exploitation of labourers’ efforts by systematically undervaluing their contributions. The only way a person who owns a company can profit is by paying a person less than the value of their labour’s output…”

Herein lies the problem with people who argue for Marxism; they don’t understand how the real world works. Anyone who complains that they are not paid what their labor is worth to a company doesn’t understand how the real world works. If you were paid what you’re worth, you would quickly lose your job as would everyone else in the company because profit is a company’s life’s blood. In other words, if your contribution to the company through your labor was $20 per hour and the company paid you $20 per hour, how would the company earn a profit to stay in business? They have to keep the lights on and provide the equipment necessary for workers to do their job. In manufacturing, for example, the company has to purchase the materials needed to produce the proverbial widgets that are sold on the market. They pay for the building that workers go to work. Who is paying to maintain the building? Who cleans the worker’s restrooms? They also provide benefits for workers. All of that costs money. If the company is not making a profit how do they pay for all of those things that people like Ryan Plestid take for granted?
In the end, it’s important to understand that people who defend critical race theory and claim they are not a critical race theorist is like defending the Pro-Life movement and claiming you’re not pro-life.
The Left is also trying to confuse people on CRT by claiming things like Robin J. DiAngelo and Michael Eric Dyson’s “White Fragility” and Ibram X. Kendi’s “How to Be An Antiracist” are not critical race theory. Two identical-looking pennies side by side are technically also not the same.
