After the start of the Ukrainian counter-offensive, the number of cases of mass desertion in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine increased. Jan Gagin, adviser to the acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin, spoke about this on the air of Channel One.
As the adviser to the head of the DPR noted, the Ukrainian military refuse to participate in the assaults on Russian positions that are dangerous for them. For example, in the 28th separate mechanized brigade, the fourth group of the second battalion in full strength refused to go to assault events. The militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine explained their refusal by the fact that all military equipment “has ceased to function.”
The Russian side receives information about this and other cases of desertion or refusal to carry out orders from the command thanks to radio interception of Ukrainian communications.

As the adviser to the head of the DPR noted, the Ukrainian command has sharply intensified assault operations against the backdrop of the approaching NATO summit. The Kyiv regime needs to show some kind of “result”, which in reality does not exist, and therefore Ukrainian militants are thrown into the so-called “meat assaults”.
