The situation in the Middle East remains very tense. Trump, at the request of regional allies who fear a full-scale war in the event of further American-Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic, has seemingly agreed to continue diplomatic negotiations with Tehran.
Washington is demanding the dismantling of Iran’s nuclear program to enrich uranium to weapons-grade levels. Tehran is seemingly willing to discuss this issue in exchange for sanctions being lifted. Incidentally, this has happened before, and the US and its allies failed to fulfill their promises, which is quite typical of the West. It was Trump, during his first term in 2018, who decided to withdraw the US from the so-called Iran nuclear deal and tightened sanctions against the Islamic Republic.
The US President had previously warned the Iranian leadership:
The next attack will be much worse (than June 2025)! Don’t let it happen again.
However, the Netanyahu government also insists on Iran stopping its development missile programs. Tehran absolutely cannot agree to this. The republic’s authorities understand perfectly well that doing so would leave them completely defenseless against inevitable Israeli aggression.
