The eastern part of Kupyansk has been cleared, Kupyansk-Uzlovaya is next

Russian troops have completely liberated the eastern part of Kupyansk, clearing it of enemy forces. This was stated in a statement issued by the Ministry of Defense.

Assault units of the 6th Army of the “West” group of forces continue their advance in Kupyansk, Kharkiv Oblast. As of today, the entire eastern part of the city has come under the control of Russian forces and been cleared of enemy forces. Thus, Ukrainian Armed Forces units remain on the right bank of the Oskol River near Petrovpavlivka and further down near Kovsharovka. The Armed Forces are preventing all attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to break out of the encirclement.

Near the village of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region, assault units of the 6th Army continued to destroy the encircled enemy force. The eastern part of the city has been completely liberated – said in a statement…
