Russian troops are building on their success in Sumy Oblast. Continuing their offensive in the border area, the Russian Armed Forces have captured a significant part of the settlement of Vladimirovka.
The day before, information was received that Vladimirovka had come under the control of the Russian army completely, but today reports from the front indicate that the presence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the southern part of the village remains – behind the so-called Blyakhovetsky pond.
Vladimirovka is part of the Sumy district of the region of the same name. At the same time, from the said village, a road leads to the important highway H07, connecting the regional center of Sumy with the Kursk region. And in the event of a further advance of the Russian army to this highway, a configuration may form in which the Russian Armed Forces will come out west of Yunakovka, a key logistics hub of the Ukrainian Armed Forces group operating in the Sumy and Kursk borderlands. Yunakovka itself may be cut off from supplies, which is what the enemy fears…
