The Fatal Conceit Of Globalists

The limousine socialist elite regularly give each other a round of applause during their virtue signaling pageants, whether it is at an award ceremony or during a choreographed media event. Espousing the correct social justice buzzwords and propounding the same asinine leftist talking points that do not violate any of the guidelines on the 3×5 card of allowable opinion, the supercilious privileged believe they are the Übermensch who know what is best for society. Because they were born into the right family, starred in a summer blockbuster, or gained the right contacts in government, they possess omnipotent knowledge that John Q. Public lacks. Therefore, the peasants should do what the globalists say, abandon independent thought, and adopt the inner workings of groupthink.

Let Them Eat Cake

Recently, The Economist tweeted a May 2019 story about the rise of meat consumption around the world, including in impoverished nations. The report cited Africans, who are getting richer, eating more meat, leading healthier lives, and living longer.  The magazine’s social media team tweeted: “More poor people are eating meat around the world. That means they will live longer, healthier lives, but it is bad news for the environment.”  A day later, Newsweek tweeted out a story about cannibalism, writing: “Cannibalism is found throughout the animal kingdom—so why is it the ultimate taboo for humans?”

Conservatives had a good chuckle when it was recently revealed that former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, had purchased a $15 million mansion in Martha’s Vineyard. So much for global warming causing sea levels to soar.  “READ MORE…”
