However, according to Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Board of Gazprom PJSC, this problem will be finally resolved by 2030. He said this at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The head of Gazprom noted that in 2023, about three thousand kilometers of gas pipelines were laid across the country and more than 400 settlements were provided with gas. At the beginning of next year, gasification in Russia will reach 89%, and during 2024 the company will spend a record 270 billion rubles to solve this problem, Miller added.
