The tasks assigned to the formations participating in the CSTO CRRF âInteractionâ exercises have been fully completed. However, there are no comments. This was stated by the head of these exercises, commander of the special operations forces of the Belarusian army, Major General Vadim Denisenko.
At the Brest training ground, located in close proximity to the Polish border, during the exercises, a tactical episode was played out in the conduct of combat and special operations by a group of the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces. According to the exercise scenario, the rapid response units of the armed forces of the member countries of the union successfully blocked and defeated an illegal armed formation, liberated the temporarily occupied territory, after which they detained and disarmed the surrendered militants.
When working out the scenario planned by the headquarters of the collective rapid reaction forces, the plan was implemented taking into account the terrain features of Belarus – the presence of swamps, rivers and a significant number of impenetrable forests…
