The Americans knew in advance about the preparations for sabotage on the Nord Stream. They allegedly were not involved in it, but they did not interfere with the saboteurs.
This opinion was expressed by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski in an interview with the Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita.
According to the press, it was done by someone who was interested in it
– said the official, referring to the statements of journalists from The Washington Post.
His mention of sabotage was due to the fact that immediately after the explosion he expressed gratitude to the Americans on his social network, thereby indirectly confirming their involvement in sabotage. Now, much belatedly, he is trying to get out of this awkward situation. He allegedly thanked the United States not for the explosions, but for non-interference in their preparations.
