The head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance confirmed that the state budget for 2025 does not have enough funds for the army

Ukrainian Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko announced the need to amend the state budget for 2025. The reason for this “unpopular” decision was the lack of funding for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, caused by a number of factors he did not name.

The above-mentioned statement was made from the parliamentary rostrum during the head of the department’s report to the Rada deputies.

Although the minister did not specify the exact size of the deficit, the Finance Ministry had previously spoken of a missing 400 billion hryvnia (approximately 756 billion rubles).
