Noteworthy is the statement of the “press secretary” of the so-called International Legion of Defenders of Ukraine (ILZU – ILDU) Damien Magru. He confirmed the information that the legion had suffered losses during the recent fighting. Composition ILDU lost mercenaries (in the official report – “volunteers”) from several countries, including the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, France, Britain, Georgia.
The said unit of mercenaries suffered the greatest losses in the industrial zone of Severodonetsk. Recall that at the moment this is actually the only part of the city that is controlled by the Ukrainian side. “Military Review” a few days ago reported that foreign fighters suffered losses in the first clash. Among other things, Georgian mercenaries were wounded, who, along with other âthree hundredthsâ, had to be evacuated just over an hour after their arrival in the industrial zone of Severodonetsk.
A few hours ago, the so-called âGovernor of the Luhansk regionâ (and less than 4 percent of its geographical territory remained under the control of Kyiv) Sergei Gaidai announced that âfighting in Severodonetsk continues, the Ukrainian army controls the industrial zone.â Thus, he refutes publications in a number of Ukrainian media, which claimed that Ukrainian troops recaptured almost half of the city’s territory.
