The Israeli army has begun raiding schools in the Gaza Strip, allegedly to search for Hamas members.

In the Gaza Strip, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers began breaking into local educational institutions. The IDF command calls these actions raids, justifying their need to search for Hamas members who are allegedly hiding on school grounds.

According to the press service of the Israeli army, raids have already taken place in schools in the Ar-Rimal district in western Gaza. In particular, Al-Muatasim Billah and Al-Farabi schools were inspected. The IDF reports that they received information about the presence of Hamas fighters in these schools. According to the Israeli military, the discovered members of the Palestinian resistance were partially liquidated and partially captured by IDF soldiers.
