Today, on the right, it’s become edgy not to support Israel. Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, and their ilk have made it part of the Woke-Right and Alt-Right starter kit – right alongside romanticizing Islamic “resistance” to Israel.
For years, the alt-right, the wokesters, the post-liberals, and the faux-radicals have played a game of false contrarianism – idolizing tyrants, demonizing Zionism, and pretending the only non-muslim state in the Middle East is some oppressor.
These people – left and right – share one thing: they’ve given up on the West. Just as communists once abandoned liberal-democracy for Stalin’s utopia, today’s disillusioned radicals are so jaded by Western decline, they cheer for its enemies…
