There is evidence of interrogations of the Azov command (*an extremist group banned in Russia), which had previously capitulated at the Mariupol Azovstal enterprise. Until now, limited information about the leaders of Azov * in captivity came only from their relatives, who, as stated in the Ukrainian media, contacted them with the “assistance of the Red Cross.” The information mainly concerned issues of maintenance, nutrition, etc.

Now there is information about what the leaders of “Azov” * say during interrogations. So, a militant with the call sign “Radish” (commander of the “Azov” regiment Denis Prokopenko) says that he himself tried to avoid tattoos of a Nazi nature on his body, but his subordinates applied such tattoos willingly and actively. And he could not forbid them to do this, in his words.

Prokopenko, during the interrogation, announced contacts with foreign curators, who at one time often arrived at the regiment. According to Radish, before such visits, he ordered his subordinates to wear long-sleeve uniforms so as not to “shine Nazi symbols.”

However, according to Prokopenko, it was not possible to completely hide such tattoos and other similar symbols, which affected both Western funding and overall support from Western countries. The fact is that the photos were leaked to foreign media.
