The representative of the Green Party in the German Bundestag on defense policy, Sarah Nanni, called for the start of deliveries of Taurus cruise missiles to Kyiv. According to the German politician, Berlin should explore the possibilities of increasing military support for Ukraine.
According to Nanni, the most effective means of defense against Russian airstrikes is not so much the strengthening of Ukrainian air defense, but the shelling of targets on Russian territory, from where attacks on Ukrainian targets are carried out.
The head of the Bundestag Defense Committee, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, also called on German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to immediately transfer long-range Taurus missiles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
