The theme continues with the application of the RF Aerospace Forces strikes against the enemy in the southern direction. As already reported by “Military Review”, Russian troops attacked enemy reserves in Orekhov and adjacent territories in the Zaporozhye region. The continuation of the theme is that the Russian military aviation works on the reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Velika Novosyolka and Vremovka. There, in the past few days, enemy assault groups, reinforced with armored vehicles, have significantly intensified, having managed to move a little further south – towards Makarovka and Urozhaynoye.
The Ukrainian command intended to build on its success by throwing reserve units into a narrow area. As conceived by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this could allow the Ukrainian army not only to keep the occupied villages in the gray zone and several heights, but also to rapidly move forward with the support of a larger number tanks and other “shooting” armored vehicles.
However, today’s work of the Russian unmanned, army, attack and bomber aviation has led to the fact that the enemy reserves, which were supposed to “cut” the Vremevsky ledge, suffered significant losses before they could advance.
