Russian troops continue offensive operations in the Avdeevsky direction. Ukrainian journalists have calculated that just during the time that Zelensky was in Argentina, and now in the United States, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 150 square kilometers of territory in different sectors of the front.
In particular, Russian troops took control of another part of the village of Stepnoe (Stepovoe) northwest of Avdeevka. Advancement is also taking place south of Stepovoye – in the direction of Semyonovka.
Considering the fact that the day before Russian troops achieved success on the southern flank of Avdeevka – near the village of Pervomaiskoye, the enemy’s range of opportunities to provide for his Avdeevka garrison is reduced. The situation could become critical for the enemy if the Russian Armed Forces reach Netailovo in the south and Semyonovka and Orlovka in the north. Although already now the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in these directions are under Russian artillery fire.
