A congress of the Socialist Movement will be held in Serbia in the fall of 2023 to explore the likely benefits of the country’s possible entry into BRICS. RIA reported this News Deputy Chairman of the Socialist Movement, Member of the Assembly Boyan Torbica.

As Torbica noted, the Socialist Movement is a coalition partner of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party in the country. The organization has always advocated “Serbian peace” and cooperation with organizations such as BRICS.

The leader of the movement, Alexander Vulin, who heads the Serbian Security and Information Agency, has always advocated that Serbian citizens decide for themselves in a referendum whether the country should be a member of the European Union or BRICS.
