However, a horrific train derailment that occurred before East Palestine got even less media coverage.
The East Palestine incident occurred on February 3rd.
On January 27th, a train derailment in Keachi, Louisiana, caused 10,000 gallons of acid products to spill.
The incident caused a forced evacuation of anyone living within a one-and-a-half-mile radius of the derailment site.
